Visit from The Lincoln College Group

 

In order to implement The National Vocational Education Reform Plan and to be in line with international standards in teaching, on the afternoon of June 19th, a delegation was invited to visit the college, led by Gary Headland, CEO of the Lincoln College Group, UK, together with James Foster, Head of International and Business Department of Lincoln College Group and another delegation member. Issues of the co-established Sino-foreign cooperative education project on E-commerce have been discussed. Ling Hong, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of the college, Chen Changhui, member of the party committee and vice president, and leaders from other relevant departments attended the meeting.

On behalf of the college, Ling Hong welcomed the delegation from the Lincoln College Group and made an introduction on current status of the cooperation project.

As a result of the common effort from both parties, the project entered a further developed stage as E-commerce enjoyed advantageous features in both talent training and industrial application when compared to other majors. Therefore, it is convinced that students will be provided with the utmost learning environment and resources.

Chen Changhui said that the Sino-foreign cooperative education project is of great significance to the college. To ensure the continuous progress of the project, strategies will be implemented to improve the quality of the teaching and personnel training and the college look forward to achieving win-win cooperation results. Mr. Gary, CEO of Lincoln College Group expressed his gratitude to the college for the efforts made, including applying and approving process of the project and enrolling students. He said the competent leadership team has made everything possible and a promising future of the cooperation project is to be expected.

At the meeting, further discussion on curriculum and teaching plans has been conducted between the Lincoln College Group and the Department of Academic Affairs and Department of Economics and Trade Management.
